January and February 2015

15 December 2014

Dear Friends and Partners,

We trust that you all had a marvelous Christmas and that the prospects for the New Year are great.  Every time we come to a New Year, we think about the opportunities that God has given to each of us. In a real sense, it is a time of new beginnings.  The Psalmist David wrote, “He brought me out…and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.  He has put a new song in my mouth—praise to our God…” (Psalm 40:2-3 NKJV).

Our last series of meetings were in the nation of Colombia and God blessed us tremendously.  We saw many people make commitments to our Lord.  However, we do ask that you pray for that nation.  We have personally been involved there for over twenty years and we have watched the nation be touched by God from the highest office in the land, the Presidency, to the lowliest person in the streets.  There are people in “high places” that are putting pressure on the Church to compromise their stance on many issues.

Over the past several weeks, we have taken some needed time of rest and we must say that it has been good.  We often remember that Jesus would go aside and spend time with the Father.  And speaking of rest, we are looking forward to the annual Apostolic Resource Ministries R & R (Rest and Relaxation) in Nashville, Indiana at the beginning of February.  It is always a wonderful time, gathering with friends and spiritual family.

We ask that you pray with us about our schedule for the New Year.  We are planning several trips to Canada, France and Colombia as well as the United States.  So many doors have been opened to us, but we are finding it impossible to respond to them all.  We do have the promise of God that says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5 NKJV).

We pray that the blessing of the Lord will rest upon each of you as you enter 2015.  It is our desire to see you “…prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 2 NKJV).

In Jesus,

Eugene & Sherry
