Dear Friends and Partners,
Oh, what a wonderful day to be alive. We were reminded today as we looked out upon the beautiful Canadian sky of the love and faithfulness of our God. A very familiar verse rose in our hearts which says, “This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24). We know that the Psalmist was writing about more than just an individual day; he was writing about THE DAY OF THE LORD, but it is awesome to know that God has prepared each day for us.
In our last letter we wrote a few words about the presidential election in Colombia. It is with joy that we can report that the nation elected a man with moral, economical and political integrity. With our close connection to that nation, we feel it when they hurt and when they rejoice, and this is a time of rejoicing. It is also a time for all of us to stay before God for the nation as the transition is made from the old government to the new.
We are looking forward to the months of July and August. As you will notice from the schedule, we will begin at home in Florida and finish in Colombia. In the meantime we plan to be in Indiana, Virginia, Florida, Illinois and Iowa. While we are in Indiana, we will attend the Apostolic Resource Ministries annual conference in Floyd’s Knobs. This is a time that we look forward to each year. Not only are we fed spiritually but we are also able enjoy the fellowship of likeminded believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We have had tremendous joy in ministry over these last several months and we know that it is simply because of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit as we have experienced a reconnection to so many of you. The events of these past months have showed us again that we are not alone, but we a part of a vast network of believers around the world who stand in faith for one another.
It is with all of this in mind that we say to each of you, “Be Blessed!” It is our desire for you that you walk in the power and blessing of God each day. David reminded us of His care for each of us when he wrote,
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. (Psalm 139:7-10)
