Dear Friends and Partners,
It is with joy that we write this letter to you today. We returned a few weeks ago from a successful series of meeting in England and France. We are so happy to report that God is moving in power among His people in both of those nations. One thing that blessed us so much was to see the next generation of believers arise and become leaders. Young men and women are now taking the place of their parents, grand parents and leaders of “our generation.” It is truly a marvelous thing to see.
It is difficult to write about one meeting over another. However, we had an opportunity to minister for the first time in Chambon-sur-Lignon in the mountains of south-central France. During World War II the people in Chambon, led by a pastor, hid hundreds of Jews from the Nazis. For our meeting, the church was filled with people from many of the churches in the region. It was a very exciting indication of the unity God is creating.
We see that God is moving in power among His people. The anointing (the power of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers to do the work of God) is being released to bring liberty: to the people of God (believers) and to the lost. Isaiah prophesied, “And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing…” (Isaiah 10:27 KNJV). We are seeing a new move of restoration in the Church and a resurgence of evangelism in the world. You might say that we are extremely encouraged and you would be correct.
Peter and John entered the Temple in Jerusalem and healed a lame man. As a result a crowd gathered and Peter used the opportunity to preach the Gospel. In his message he said something that we believe is happening now. He said, “…that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things…” (Acts 3:20-21 NKJV). God is restoring His Church and building His Kingdom on earth. He is doing so by taking us back to the mandate of the early Church and reaching the world.
We are planning to be in Canada for the next few weeks and then at home until after the beginning of July. As you can see from the calendar, we will be quite busy in Canada with meetings in both Quebec and Ontario. We ask that you stand with us in faith for a fresh anointing for this trip to Canada. We are expecting God to do marvelous things.
We want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for the blessings you are in our lives. It is our prayer that you are blessed “…exceedingly abundantly above all that you could ask or think.”
