15 February 2013 (Newsletter for March and April 2013)
Dear Friends and Partners,
Today is such a wonderful day to be alive. As a part of our reading of the Word of God today, we read the following: “Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works!” (Psalm 105:1&2 NKJV). It seems that the Psalmist is directing us to, not only remember what God has done in our lives, but to speak words of testimony to all that would hear. We were also reminded of the messenger in the Book of Revelation when speaking of the victory of the people of God, said: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death” (Revelation 12:11 NKJV).
Each of us, no matter how insignificant it may seem, have a testimony of the faithfulness of God. The very fact that we are a part of the Kingdom of God is a testimony of how He reached down into our lives and revealed Himself to us as Savior and we received. When we deserved nothing, He gave us everything. Oh, what a glorious Savior we have.
As we read the scripture, there came flooding back into our minds some of the reports (testimonies) that we have heard in recent days. One that really touched us was the report of a marriage healed as the result of a prophetic word given in one of our meetings last year. The couple had a court date set that would bring their marriage to an end, but the prophecy spoke of the plan of God for them together and that their future was secure. As a result, their marriage and love has been totally restored and they are serving the Lord in ministry. Another testimony came from a woman who had surgery for breast cancer and was told that the cancer had spread and that there was no hope for healing. We prayed the prayer of faith and laid hands upon her and the cancer was destroyed. These are just two of the many reports that we have received. (If you have received a healing, miracle or any other blessing from the Lord as the result of the pray of faith or prophetic word in one of our meetings, we would like to hear from you.)
As we look forward to the months of March and April, we plan to be in France and Switzerland as well as the United States. You will notice from our schedule, we will be spending some time at home with some additional surgery on Eugene’s eyes. The cataract surgeries during the autumn were totally successful, but there is a need to have an obstruction to his peripheral vision removed. This procedure will actually require two sessions: the one in April and then again in July. We ask that you pray for him during these two surgeries.
We want you to know that you are very important in the success of our ministry. Your prayers and support for us have helped us stay focused on the will and plan of God. Thank you for being there for us and please know that we are standing with you.
