Letter for May and June 2016
26 April 2016
Dear Friends and Partners,
Preparing to write this letter to you has been a time of joy for us for we know that so many of you have stood in faith with us over these past few weeks of ministry. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul, “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ…” (Philippians 1:3-6 NKJV).
We have just completed a month of ministry in five major population centers in the nation of Colombia and to our great delight we witnessed God touch the lives of several thousand people. He was faithful to save, fill, heal and deliver those who responded to the Word of God. A part of our time in Colombia was spent celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Comunidad Cristiana De Fe churches in the nation as well as ministering in a number of their churches. We also were able to build new relationships with several churches and pastors.
Looking to the future, we are planning to be in Canada and France during much of the next two months. Our time in Canada will be spent with several churches and pastors who are apart of our spiritual family. The same is true of our time in France. We have sown the Word of God into the lives of many in both nations and we especially look forward to the opportunity to be with them and see how God has blessed and multiplied their work.
On a more personal note, we have attempted to schedule more time at home and have found that it is difficult. It is especially difficult to say “No” to the invitations that continue to arrive. Therefore, we ask that you continue to pray for us and for the physical stamina that we need to accomplish the work before us. We know that God is the God of strength and we need that at this stage of our lives.
Thank you all for your love and your stand of faith for us as we go into the future that God has prepared for us. Our prayer for you is that God, who holds your future in His hands, will guide you to fulfill every of His plan for you. Paul said about you, “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ…” (Philippians 1:6 NKJV).
