Letter for May – June 2017
25 April 2017
Dear Friends and Partners,
God spoke through the prophet Jeremiah and said, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27) Of course, the answer is “NO!” Nothing is hard for Him. It is with these words in mind that we rejoice, not only at His power, but also at His faithfulness, and we have certainly seen the faithfulness of God in these recent days.
As we write this letter today, we are flying home from Cali, Colombia. We have just completed 20 days in Colombia where we participated in the dedication of the new Christ For The Nations Institute’s facilities in Medellin. We also ministered in a number of churches in Medellin, Bello, Bogota and Cali. It is amazing how God is moving in the nation of Colombia. We are often reminded of the hymn, which says, “To God be the glory, great things He has done.” Not only did we minister to many people, but we also received ministry.
Yesterday, April 24th, we were able to spend time with a number of friends in Cali and as a result were introduced to several ministers from the Vineyard movement in the United States and Colombia. We were tremendously blessed to find “kindred spirits” among these wonderful men of God. God knows just how to bless and strengthen us at the exact time that we need it.
You will notice from our schedule that we will be at home and ministering in Florida for the next few weeks. We are looking forward to this time of “sleeping in our own beds.” We will be traveling to Canada later in the month of May for ministry in a number of churches in Quebec. We ask that you pray for us during this time and believe with us for the blessing of the Lord. God is doing a great work in Quebec, and we rejoice that He allows us to participate in the harvest.
You will also take note of the fact that we are taking a vacation in the month of June. Two friends from England, Ian and Janet James, are meeting us in Denver, Colorado, and we are going to travel through much of the mountains of Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota. We ministered in those areas in the past but have not been back in a number of years and we are looking forward to seeing much of the territory that we so loved in the past.
Many of you know that we have been posting a daily blog on Facebook for several years. Recently we changed from the normal Facebook presentation to a Facebook page. If you would like to read our daily posting, go to Facebook and enter “EMayEaglesWings” and “Like” the page. You will then be able not only to read the postings but you will also see news of events that we are conducting.
We also plan to begin broadcasting a weekly message on FaceBook Live in the near future. We will be announcing the time for each live broadcast on our FaceBook page. If you miss a live broadcast, you will be able to go to the page and find any that you miss. You may also find many of our messages that have been recorded and presented by going to YouTube and entering “Eugene May.”
Each of you is so appreciated and we pray that the blessings of God are touching your lives in every situation. The words of the blessing in Deuteronomy often come to us as we think of you, “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out” (Deuteronomy 28:6).
