September and October 2018

20 August 2018

Dear Friends and Partners,

All of us are living in a very interesting time in history. Changes are happening so often in the nations of the world that it is difficult to keep up. Yet, these verses of Scripture have encouraged our hearts in the midst of everything:

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. (Psalm 27:1-3)

We remember that He is “the faithful God” and He has made a covenant with us and with our children that will endure for all time.

We are continually asked about what we believe is about to happen in this world and we always give the same answer: God is in control. He has not abdicated His position of authority as the creator and nothing surprises Him. David, the Psalmist, wrote,

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. (Psalm 139:7-10)

As we are writing this letter, we are preparing for our next trip to Colombia, South America. It will be our honor to participate in the ordination of several pastors in the northern city of Barranquilla. You will note from our schedule that we will also be in three churches in Bogota as well as attending the annual Apostolic Advance for all of the Comunidad Cristiana de Fe (Christian Community of Faith) churches.

Again this year we will be to Vermont for our Annual ONE-DAY CONFERENCE at New Beginnings Miracle Fellowship in Morrisville. Our subject this year is THINKING GOD’S WAY. Here are the details and be sure to call and register so that we will know how to prepare for the meals. Everyone is welcome and French translation will be provided.

In addition to the conference in Vermont we will be in several churches in Quebec, Canada and in New Hampshire. At the end of the month of October we plan to fly to Europe and spend most of the month of November in France and England.

Often we comment to each other of how blessed we are to have people like you in our lives. You are loved and it is our desire to see you blessed and living with all of your needs supplied. Remember the words of Paul, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)

In Jesus,

Eugene & Sherry
